Yes a very real story
Seven Years in Tibet is a 1997 film based on the book of the same name written by Austrian mountaineer and onetime SS Nazi Heinrich Harrer based on his experiences in Tibet between 1944 and 1951 during the Second World War, the interim period, and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army moving into Tibet in 1950.
Seven Years in Tibet tells the story of how Austrians Heinrich Harrer and Peter Aufschnaiter, having been imprisoned by the British while mountaineering in the north of India at the beginning of World War II in 1939, eventually escape across the border into Tibet in 1944 and cross the treacherous high plateau. There in Tibet, after initially being ordered to return to India, they are welcomed at Lhasa and become acquainted with an unfamiliar way of life. Harrer is introduced to the Dalai Lama, who is still a boy, and he becomes a tutor and then close friend to the young spiritual leader during his time in Lhasa. Harrer and Aufschnaiter remain in the country until the Chinese invasion in 1950.

Upper, Middle or Lower Class?
In economics we have to profile families as middle upper or lower class, I have done most of them however there is one that I am having particular trouble with:

Family of four, husband is a business owner and tax accountant/financial adviser, earns between $90, 000-$120 000 thousand a year. Great 8 (Australian Equivalent to Ivy League) university education, borderline elite private education. Wife works as a receptionist at a large law firm in the city making 46,000 a year, no university education and state high school education.
2 children both have been a private schools all their lives, their high school is border elite.
Live in the eastern suburbs, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home on just over a 1/4 of an acre property. House prices in the suburb range from 800, 000 to 5,000,000+,.

I am not sure whether to place them as middle or upper class, what do you think?

I classify them as being upper middle class. If that category is not acceptable, then middle class it is.

I agree with the first answer - upper middle class. They’re better off than many middle class families, but not quite as wealthy as a lot of upper class people. If you can’t say upper middle class, then I’d just stick with middle.

Why Do We Fall in Love and get hurt?
I’m in this intensive relationship for four months. I mean we were together every day! He said he loved me so much! He said he wanted to treat me right that he wanted to buy me a car and wanted to buy me a ring. He pointed at the picture of a ring, that’s the end of the story. He eventually bought me a used car two weeks ago but he asked me to pay him back. I mean its not that I only want things from him. But its the love that I dont feel. I tried my best to embrace his kids cook and talk to them. I took good care of him for his birthday and anytime that I could. I gave him my heart and everything that I had to him and hoping one day he would treat me better. He never did. He would lose his temper every other day, make cruel jokes like I needed an implant or that his ex wife was ugly outside but I am ugly inside, he kicked me out of his car in the middle high way for a few times when he was mad, I must smile all the time no matter how tired I was. My heart has been bleeding since two weeks ago he bought that used car and asked me for repayment plan, at the same time he would tell everyone that he bought the car for me. I guess I stayed in this relationship mainly because I believed in him telling me that he loved me so much and he never felt this in love before. We are very different in many ways, but I wanted to stay in this relationship hoping that I can make the love fairytale to become true. Yesterday I had to go to a different state for a conference, so he drove me there his kids also came along. On our way home, I was tired and couldn’t smile. We were planning to go to a car race and it was really hot. He mentioned before he got off the car to get the gas saying that it might not be a good idea to go and his kids were tired. When he came back to the car he said well l looked miserable and mad and ugly and we should just go back home. I said I was just tired and I couldnt smile I said if he wanted to change the plan thats fine but he didnt need to bring me up as if I caused the result. He went out of control yelled at me and went into a rage. I was asked to leave the car in the middle of the high way again because of that one sentence I said. His daughter came to me to ask me back to the car. In the car, he screamed at me calling me names, saying I didnt deserve anything saying I was a bitch telling me I should go back to my own country. So I decided to leave him because I don’t believe he ever loved me based on the way he treated me. IN the past four months, he bought me four nice dinners, four shirts and he kept saying I was materialistic that I only cared about stuff not him. I broke up with him last night and got my key back and returned his key. I just feel this sorrow deep down in my heart that its very hard for me to move on with my life. I havent loved anyone for a longest time, I buried myself with work and study, when I met I really loved him and treated him so nice. I was waiting for one day hoping he could treat me better, it never happened, he only blowed off smoke on my face. So I bought myself a bottle of vodka to wash down my sorrow. I was fucked for four months every day by him and I got nothing back. So I was the stupid one.
