Do *Unbelievers* have FEAR with the return of *Jesus Christ*?
If you do not believe in GOD and the return of Jesus Christ do you thik that is going to prevent it from happening. ?
The falling economy, the climate change, the famine, death and disease, immorality, debauchery, the lies of Men will be revealed with the return of the King of Kings….
Who will be shamed? the Un-believers that stand in the Judgement of GOD….They will have no excuse for why they did not accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ, when they heard it, read about it and still denied it..They will have no excuse for why they did not obey everyone of GOD’s cmmandment…
So where is the fear? it is where the un-believers are sentenced….
Can you say in all honesty that if you are Judged to the Lake of Fire to live out eternity in the pain of anguish in your heart, in your mind and in everday living, you have no fear?
You can deny and say well that is not going to happen, but that does not prevent you or will you be able to evade your final destination…..
There is no fear with the followers of truth..GOD’s truth..
Jesus said:
Matthew 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Matt 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Why do religious nuts always think the world is ending?

I don’t think some do because why would you fear something that you think doesn’t exist?
Some might fear if they are lying here on the forum and secretly have doubt.
So some might I guess.

I don’t believe in gods and Jesuses so I don’t really believe there is anything to prevent. It kinda comes in a package deal, toots.

No, I don’t FEAR the myth of the return of the Christian god. It’s just one more man-made religious fantasy in a long, long line of religious fantasy’s.

Why do you Christians want the earth to be destroyed so badly? Your all sick. How would you feel if the earth suddenly stopped due to reasons that weren’t jesus? Stupid? you should.
Jesus was meant to come like 1000 times since the prediction. Give up.
Michael (Who is STILL like God?) | Feb 09, 2010
If "famine, disease and death" were happening everywhere in the world, then perhaps I’d be a little nervous, them problems are occurring in third world countries where money has and will be tight to come by, and thus results in these problems. The falling economy will reboot, the great depression didn’t signify the end the world.
You can go on and on with the return of christ, but I won’t believe a word of it.
Bradley | Feb 09, 2010
blah blah blah—disasters, famine, war, pestilence, reality TV—all these things have plagued mankind for eons (except reality TV, a recent plague).
Of course I can deny it will happen. Jesus is long dead.
laslo.kovacs | Feb 09, 2010
Do you really think you succeeded in tricking any "unbeliever" into reading all of that?
Seriously, posting questions like this is immature and you’re only making your fellow christians look worse than people already perceive them to be.
John S | Feb 09, 2010
The "signs" you’ve listed have been happening for thousands of years. People in Rome thought the world was ending when the western empire fell. The reasons the country is going to crap is because once an empire reaches its peak it has to go down. Our peak was probably the eighties.
Weird Voice on the Phone | Feb 09, 2010
if god is all loving and forgivness why does it matter? i’m an atheist and id say if god really is how you think he is then i’m going to heaven. But if god is a wrathful god filled with vengence and hatred then id rather not chill with that dick for eternity.

"The falling economy, the climate change, the famine, death and disease, immorality, debauchery,"
Here’s a fun activity. Open up a history book. With the exception of "climate change" this list doesn’t seem to be getting worse in the long term. As a matter of fact, on the whole, we are wealthier, healthier and more moral than ever.
Herbie | Feb 09, 2010
No fear.
What’s going to prevent it from happening? The simple fact that it’s a fairy tale and has no basis in reality, that’s what. Even your magic jesus himself supposedly said he’d be back before people there with him were dead — and (if they ever existed) they’ve all been dead 1900+ years. That ship has sailed, magic jesus isn’t coming back.
Your spooky stories about magic boogey men and infinite punishments for a finite life don’t scare us — we, in fact, find them rather silly.
Peace.

Fear mongering doesn’t work on logical educated humans.
Macman | Feb 09, 2010
I can not fear something that does not exist.
There is no evidence any God exists.
There is no evidence that Christianity is true.
There is no evidence that Jesus was a real person.
There is evidence that Moses, Adam, Noah, and Abraham are fictional.
The Bible has never gotten anything right.
Pi is not 3
The sun does not circle the earth
The earth is not flat
There is no evidence that the universe is not organic in origin.
This is a myth and it is no different than Ragnarok. Myth and fiction not truth and not history.

There is absolutely nothing, aside from your ‘precious’ bible, that indicates there will be this return of your savior. And while you can shake and shiver from these ’signs’ you point out, we can point out that the claim of the Christ’s return has been made several times in the past; none of them have come to fruition.
So, to answer your question, no, there is no fear on my part. In fact, I am almost to the point of mockery in your belief that this Christ figure will one day appear "again" to save all of his believers.
Uh Yeah! | Feb 09, 2010
ever read many come in the name of Jesus and are denied what will Jesus say to you thanks for being a judge when you are wrong. need to rethink your whole ending for it is false how Religions say it ends. Here is how it end the Books are opened and you get to see inside

I’m a believer in Jesus Christ and a Saved Christian. In my opinion, unbelievers are to afraid to accept the truth because they fear what might happen to them if they do. They might be afraid of accepting a higher power then themselves or be afraid of what their friends/family think of them once they become religious. As for Jesus Christ’s return, unbelievers have a fear of that and a fear of God himself. They are ashamed of God and refuse to accept his truth because they think there is no one better then themselves. The truth is we are precious in God’s eyes and he loves us very much, but we all have fallen short of the glory of God.
But.. lucky for us. Jesus Christ can fix that!

Me: Oh, I’m sorry God, but the bible was poorly written and the things your people claim are astounding-oh- wait, Odin? Is that you?
The only thing I’m afraid of is that we’ll exhaust our resources and kill this planet along with ourselves.
This seems to me like it’s what you’re afraid of, which is why you believe.

You believing that the world is ending doesn’t mean that it is.
Seeing that I don’t believe in your god, your Bible, or anything else in your religion I don’t believe in your paranoia of the "world is ending".
Besides, according to some religions, you’ll be the one being "sentenced".
Alicia | Feb 09, 2010
Threats of punishment in a magical afterlife for not following your religion do not scare us, so no, there is no fear.
(Denying that the flying spaghetti monster is going to boil you in sauce for not worshiping it doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen, you know… can you say in all honesty you have no fear? Hmmm?)

Here is a quote of your bible just for you:
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. "For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. "Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? "Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ and behold, the log is in your own eye? "You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. (Matthew 7:1-5)

Just because you believe in God and the return of Jesus Christ doesn’t mean it’s going to happen. Let’s face it, people have been doing vile things to each other, often in the name of religion, since–well, since there *were* people. Please stop me before I start singing "We Didn’t Start the Fire".
You know what? I try to live a decent life. I try to be kind to others. I’m an honest person. If that’s not good enough for your god, well, I don’t know what to say. Sorry I didn’t believe in you, but the Bible is just too brutal for me to accept that God is good. And I refuse to accept that someone can be a vile human being all his life, accept Jesus on his deathbed, and he will be saved ahead of an atheist who lived an exemplary life. I want no truck with any "savior" like that.
If you have a question, please ask it. If you’re going to proselytize, go somewhere else.
