She has BF, she texts me ALL the time, I am confused?
We’re both in 10th grade and I am IN LOVE with this girl.

Here goes: she has a boyfriend (not a very attractive fellow). They fight all the time. She’s always texting me (whether its in the morning, afternoon, or midnight). It may be rude and annoying to anyone else, but i love it.She flirts with me alot (while texting as well). Whenever she talks about him to me, I’ve noticed she only complains and she never tells me anything good about him. She tells me how I treat her better and how she cant seem talk to him but she can to me etc. However, even though I can sense the vibe when we’re together, she doesn’t even seem uncomfortable if I’m around them. Problem: I don’t know how to interpret this…

Either:
1. She might be happy the way things are now. She has me to talk to and flirt with. She has him to "get sexual" with. She has both of us eating out of the palm of her hand. She has all the attention she wants and she doesn’t want anything to change.
2. She thinks of me as a friend. A really good friend. One who she can talk to about her life everyday. She’s has an "okay" relationship but she can deal with it as long as she has her ‘good friend’ to talk to.
3. She’s afraid to break it off with her bf. She doesn’t want to hurt him. She could be waiting for him to break up with her, etc.
4. I’m just her second resort in case it doesn’t work out with her bf. If they break up, she’ll give me a chance.

However, with all the signs I’ve seen, I don’t know what to think anymore.

But I’m afraid that if this keeps up, I’m gonna end up in the dreaded friend zone and she’s gonna start to talk to me about her relationship problems (by the way: that’s bad, right?) and not even consider dating me. How do I get her to want to be with me? How do I become irresistible to her?

and number 2 and 3 if she doesn’t know.

IMO:
Most girlfriends I knew who have been in these kind of situation often likes someone to whom they can talk to whenever their relationship in on the rocks. They need someone to substitute as a boyfriend when her’s is emotionally unavailable.

Being in this situation is a gamble. Just tell her your feelings and intentions. Don’t let her blabber about her boyfriend and act like she’s yours. You’ll enter the friend zone if you will continue JUST LISTENING to her problem.
