Jackal, The (1997) IMDB rating: 5.90 Plot: Russian mobster Terek Murad has declared open season on the Russian militia and the FBI over the shooting of his brother in a Moscow nightclub. He hires the Jackal, a nasty assassin whom nobody has even seen, to kill the Director of the FBI. With nowhere else to turn (except a woman who used to work with the Basque separatists, who is now in the USA but whose exact whereabouts in unknown to all save Mulqueen), FBI Deputy Director Carter Preston (who was present at the Moscow shooting) and Major Valentina Koslova of the Russian milita (who pulled the trigger in that shooting) enlist the reluctant services of Declan Mulqueen, an imprisoned IRA sniper, to track the Jackal down, for Declan is the only other person who can positively identify the Jackal.

Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner (1967) IMDB rating: 7.70 Plot: Joey Drayton brings her fiance, Dr. John Prentice, home to sunny San Francisco to meet her affluent parents. Their liberal persuasions are now put to the test, for although the young man is an ideal choice (he’s highly and internationally respected in the medical field, and he’s impeccably mannered, handsome, well dressed and of a respectable California family), he’s black. The film, which covers one busy day in the Drayton home, is essentially a drawing-room comedy, a series of cross-conversations between the young doctor and the girl’s parents, and finally between all sets of parents and offspring. A simple dinner is extended to include the doctor’s parents, who fly up from Los Angeles for the evening, and the crusty but benevolent old Irish priest, a friend of the family. i broke up with my bf b.c things wernt going as planned..actually thier was nothing planned we just claimed each other,i dont want to get into detail b.c no one would read it all…seriously its long to sum it up,i sensed he wasnt happy with me so i let him free.he still doesnt know why i broke up with him
we both like/known each other for almost a year during that year,we were BOTH crushing on each other for…3 months
in may we became closer but he had to go to juvy for 2 months (wow right?)
he never told me he was leaving,he just disapeered i was always sad thinkin about it
then 2 months later he calls right when he got out of juvy <3 (i had this SUPER positive feeling he was coming back,so i stayed single for him)
we called each other…we pretty much acted like a couple but we wernt,we didnt even hangout even tho he wanted to,i said no since we couldnt workout a schedule
then blah blah blah we went out for 2 freaking weeks!! i guess we wernt ready for this type of commitment
he decided he wanted to stop smoking weed,i think b.c he was with me,i cared that he did it but if he wanted to then its his choice,not mine and like 2-3 after the breakup i find out he is smoking it again!! my friend said maybe i was a good influence on him
he has a hard time showing his soft side to everyone,but im lucky and i saw it i made it come out!!
